About Nexus of Work
If AI is going to transform work, shouldn't someone first understand what work actually is? Nexus of Work builds the operating system for human-AI work — a reasoning knowledge graph that makes work visible at the atomic level, and a governed engine that runs the mixed workforce it reveals.
Mission
NOW OS decomposes every job in an organization into atomic actions and computes, for each one, whether AI should Automate, Augment, Assist — or stay out entirely. The result is a Division of Labor Blueprint: an evidence-based map of where AI creates value and where humans remain essential. Not a strategy deck. Not a consulting opinion. A living, queryable, governable system that scales with your organization.
What we believe
You can't optimize what you can't see. Job titles hide the real work — we make it visible, down to the atomic action.
Every recommendation is scored, sourced, and auditable. No gut feel, no politics — and "built" is never passed off as "validated."
AI without governance is a liability. Every automated decision has a policy basis, a human gate where it matters, and a tamper-evident audit trail.
We don't replace humans with AI. We compute the honest division of labor — and some work stays human by design.
Leadership
Dain leads NOW OS end to end — the platform, the build, and the company. His background spans infrastructure, automation, and workforce development: the three threads NOW OS fuses into one system.
Marc owns the semantic core — the ontologies, AI models, and decision intelligence that turn a graph of work into judgments an organization can defend.
Affan brings the cybersecurity, digital-transformation, and change-management lens — how governed AI actually lands, safely, inside real organizations.
David guides the higher-education practice — strategy, HR, and organizational change for the institutions NOW OS serves first.
Bin leads research and advisory — the study of human-AI collaboration that grounds the methodology and its educational programs.
The journey
Research begins — the task-decomposition methodology and the four-mode allocation framework take shape.
Nexus of Work, Inc. incorporated (Delaware). The knowledge-graph architecture is validated and the core ontology reaches production depth across 40 operational domains.
The platform proves itself at scale: a full digital twin of a major university system, the 18-family agent estate, TEBOK and NOW OS University published, and Alpha-Reveille — the first product — live end-to-end on a real governed process.
An hour with the running system says more than any about page.
